COVID-19 Dashboard

2021-22 San Jose Schools COVID-19 Dashboard

San Jose Schools is committed to transparency with families. We communicate relevant, daily information about COVID-19. The COVID-19 Dashboard reports confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at San Jose Primary and San Jose Prep since the start of the school year.

Our schools follow the guidance of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Florida Department of Health for contact tracing and to determine if/when quarantine is required for staff members, individual students or an entire classroom. We employ a certified COVID-19 manager to serve the needs of our charter school community. Student cases are reported based on those attending in-person classes and extracurricular activities. All data is provisional and subject to change based on confirmed cases.

The Dashboard is updated every weekday at 4 pm.

The mask mandate will be readdressed every 30 days, and could be lifted if the following criteria are met:

  • Will be readdressed when the community transmission spread is less than 49 new cases per 100,000 and
  • % of positive test cases is less than 8% in the last 7 days

In order to remove the parental opt-out from the mask mandate, the level of community transmission would have to increase 10% in both categories, during a 7 day period.

For the school to move to virtual learning, 20% of students and staff would need to be impacted through positive exposure to Covid-19.
